Sixty-two-year-old Olga Shlemina of Brooklyn is New York’s newest Lottery millionaire. Shlemina won her $1,000,000 jackpot prize on a Mega Millions/Powerball scratch-off ticket.

Shlemina purchased her winning ticket at Veer Krupa Grocery on Kings Highway in Brooklyn. She opted to receive her $1,000,000 prize as a one-time lump sum payment totaling $506,432 after required withholdings.

As of this writing there are two outstanding top prizes available on the Mega Millions/Powerball ticket. Players may check the status of any New York Lottery Scratch-off game by clicking the Instant Games Reports link at nylottery.ny.gov.

Shlemina is the 76th New York Lottery player to claim a prize totaling $1,000,000 or more this year.
