Daniel Smith of Walton is New York’s newest Lottery millionaire. Smith won his $1 million jackpot prize on a $1,000,000 Boggle Cashword scratch-off ticket. 

Smith purchased his winning ticket at the Mirabito on Main Street in Unadilla. He will receive his prize as a one-time lump sum payment totaling $671,800 after required withholdings.

Smith was the 121st New York Lottery player to claim a prize totaling $1 million or more in 2019.

The New York Lottery contributed $6,664,995 in Lottery Aid to Education to school districts in Delaware County during fiscal year 2018-2019.
