Daniel Smith of Walton is New York’s newest Lottery millionaire. Smith won his $1 million jackpot prize on a $1,000,000 Boggle Cashword scratch-off ticket.
Smith purchased his winning ticket at the Mirabito on Main Street in Unadilla. He will receive his prize as a one-time lump sum payment totaling $671,800 after required withholdings.
As of this writing there are two outstanding top prizes available on the $1,000,000 Boggle Cashword ticket. Players may check the status of any New York Lottery Scratch-off game by clicking the Instant Games Reports link at nylottery.ny.gov.
Smith was the 121st New York Lottery player to claim a prize totaling $1 million or more in 2019.
