The New York Lottery continues to be North America's largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.6 billion in Lottery Aid to Education for FY2025-2026 to help support education in New York State.
New York Lottery revenue is distributed to local school districts by the same statutory formula used to distribute other state aid to education. It takes into account both a school district's size and its income level; larger, lower-income school districts receive proportionately larger shares of Lottery school funding.

Russell Roberts
Russell was born right in New York Lottery’s hometown, Schenectady! With a background in theater, radio, and TV production, he’s a perfect fit for the draw team. When Russell’s not in the studio, he’s on stage in local theater productions.
Jennifer Dahnke
Born in Florida and raised in Saratoga Springs, Jennifer brings a little bit of Florida sunshine to every draw she hosts. When she’s not using her voice to call out numbers, she’s using it to sing at open mics and speak up in her Audio Tech classes as she finishes her degree.
Peadar Cleary
Peadar is originally from Waterford, Ireland and has been living in the US for more than 20 years. When he’s not calling numbers for the New York Lottery, he can be found practicing his passion for photography and caring for his two daughters.
