Sixty-nine-year-old Rita Mayer of Staten Island is New York’s newest Lottery millionaire. Mayer won her $5,000,000 jackpot prize on a 100X the Cash scratch-off ticket.
Mayer purchased her winning ticket at the Armstrong 24 Hour Deli on Amboy Road in Staten Island. She opted to receive her $5,000,000 prize as a one-time lump sum payment totaling $3,165,200 after required withholdings.

Mayer is the 73rd New York Lottery player to claim a prize totaling $1,000,000 or more this year.
